Call up for our young Comets
A call up for the Home International fixture at Leicester on Saturday 1st June saw both Lexie Curtis and Oliver Saunders make their debut for the England junior squads and in turn is a clear indication of their bright future in the sport.
On top of this our very own Ferose Langoo was called up for the England Senior team in their Victory over Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
They now join the lengthy list of past and present Poole riders who have represented their chosen nation.
Additionally Oliver also stared in the South & South Wales Junior Battle of Britain team on Sunday 2nd June at Coventry. Making his debut in the regional team they managed to overcome a hard charging Eastern region team and teams from the North & Scotland and the Midlands regions to take the victory.
Ferose was also in action on Sunday but this time making his debut for the South & South Wales Senior Battle of Britain team who won for the 3rd year running.
