It was a great time to celebrate and honour some very special volunteers with flowers presented to Sarah Nation and Michelle Saunders for all their incredible work in the canteen feeding riders, visitors and families week in and week out. It was also a great time to present our treasurer Jo Randall with some flowers in appreciation for her hard work keeping the books and finances in shape.
Poole’s fantastic committee had the chance for a photo recognising all the hard work which goes on behind the scenes to make the Poole club such an incredible team.
A fantastic fun quiz followed the awards presentation with Kev Saunders and Fez Langoo scoring highly to win.
Finishing off a superb night we had Rider/DJ Stevie Nation on the decks to provide the disco.
Currently lots of our volunteers, riders and parents are conducting extensive work on the track to ensure the race surface is the best it’s ever been and with huge improvements on drainage to relieve a persistent flooding problem we will also be getting a new starting grid.
Exciting times ahead for the club and a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved with the club in 2024.
