The Baiter Park squad were down on strength due to two heat leaders being unavailable due to injuries it therefore became the ideal situation for club team manager Colin Sutton to select riders from the junior squad with 2023 in mind. Although the visitors had the World Individual Champion Ben Mould and 2022 British Individual Runner Up Mark Carmichael in their squad Poole were able to restrict the scoreline with a brilliant performance that in turn will further their enthusiasm for the 2023 season of competitions. Club Captain Wil Bristowe lead the way on the score chart and in turn gave total encouragement to the rest of the team.
